The living room is connected to the luxury air conditioned master-bedroom, with a four poster bed, 32″ LCD television with a separated big dressing- area, connected to the bathroom with a wooden bath tube, shower and toilet.

Location

“Villa Samudra Raya” is set in a quiet compound less than 300 meters from the main road in the center of Seminyak, the area between Legian/Seminyak and kerobokan. The international airport is about 15 minutes away. Many interesting shops are right on the main street near the villa; it’s about 1km to the beach, and a few minutes by car bring you to an increasing number of fashionable restaurants including Café Warisan, Ku de Ta, Hu’u, The Living Room, blossom , La Luciola, Trattoria, Mykonos, etc.

The Villa

Villa Samudra Raya is elegant in design centering around two large swimming pools with large open spaces surrounding by natural light, tropical gardens and stone fixtures giving the villa a feeling of absolute tranquility. The splendid Villa Kalimaya rests upon 2000 square metres of land in Seminyak’s “Golden Triangle”, just footsteps away from the Indian Ocean on Bali’s southwest coast. Lovingly designed by its owner, and named after a river of gems, the five-bedroom villa is a contemporary tropical masterpiece, blending the very best of modern Balinese architectural elements with elegant finishes and superior amenities.

The property is comprised of a large two-storey building together with three single-storey guest suites, two open-air pavilions and an 18 x 8 metre swimming pool, situated in a beautiful garden. Accomodation

The main building is girded by a koi pond and flanked by wide stone pillars. Each room on the ground floor features exterior folding glass doors accessed by wooden bridges over the pond. This two-storey building houses a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a guest toilet and a ground-floor guest bedroom with en-suite garden bathroom. The Master Suite covers the whole of the upstairs floor and is comprised of a living area, master bedroom, en-suite bathroom, and an adjoining entertainment terrace, which is a wonderful party space affording great sunset views.

Welcome statues greet guests as they enter the main living area. Cosy and comfortable, this room is furnished with two large sofas, ottomans, an antique Madurese daybed, a Persian carpet and a piano. Glass doors opposite the entrance open into a small garden where water flows over rocky falls into tiny pools before splashing into the koi pond.

The spacious indoor dining room can be opened up for a semi-alfresco experience. It is illuminated with a chandelier and furnished with a large teakwood dining table for ten.
